The 2009 Australian Gourmet Pages’ Australian Pinot Challenge took place on 14^th August 2009 at The Wharf Restaurant.

 

The Judges were:

John Atwill, John Cunnington, Alex Head, Nick Hildebrandt, Huon Hooke, Roberta Muir, Teri More, Pat Nourse, Georgia North, Tim Pak Poy, Simon Thomsen and Franz Scheurer (score not counted).

All the wines were exceptional and my thanks go to the wine makers, the judges and Tim Pak Poy and his team at the Wharf. The food was superb and worked 100% with the wines.
